Health insurance customers 'can find simple ways to exercise'
September 07, 2010
Small amounts of exercise offer plenty of benefits in the long-run for health insurance customers.
Health insurance customers looking to get fitter and benefit from cheaper premiums can find plenty of simple ways to get exercise.
This is according to Dr Christian Jessen, the presenter of Embarrassing Bodies and Supersize vs Superskinny, who stated that exercise comes in a variety of different forms.
For those who are somewhat out of practice, Dr Christian said that heading to the gym immediately to spend hours on a treadmill may not be a good idea.
Instead, there are easier ways for health insurance customers to improve their physical fitness, such as taking the stairs rather than the lift when at work.
"Just little changes like that actually add up to a significant number of calories burnt and that's quite important," he explained.
According to recent research from the World Cancer Research Fund, 45 minutes of moderate exercise each day can also help health insurance customers to cut their risk of contracting cancer, reported the Daily Telegraph.
